Frequently Asked
Questions...

I understand the process of taking photos can be a little stressful, but trust me, it doesn't have to be! I want to make our time together to be as stress free as possible. Below, I have listed a few of the most  frequently asked questions about my services.

Where are you located? How far will you travel?

I am located in Menard, Texas and primarily shoot here and in the surrounding towns, although you'll find me traveling all around the West Texas and Hill Country areas of Texas. I will also travel outside these popular areas if requested. My goals are to become a full time destination photographer. So if you are planning your wedding out-of-state, let's go!

How do you edit the images?

My editing style is truer to life as I love the natural colors the land has to offer. I edit the best of your session. Every image that you receive has been hand-edited, one at a time. A lot of time is spent removing yellow tint from teeth, removing blemishes from skin and hiding wild clothing straps that love to peak out of cute clothes. Nothing too extreme, just the little things like color and blemish correction.

How long will I have to wait for my photos after my session/event?

Session galleries have an expected delivery time of 2-3 weeks, but I try to aim inside that time frame. If the event is longer in length of time, say an 8-10+ hour wedding, galleries are returned in an approximately 8-12 weeks. You're always more than welcome to let me know of your needs in advance, and I am more than happy to try to expedite the process if you're needing them within a certain time frame.

How many pictures will I receive?

That depends on the amount of time I'm shooting! For weddings and other events that take several hours, I'll include all your best images throughout the entire event.  I'll always include the goofy faces and slightly out of focus photographs as they add memorable character to the gallery. I generally produce around 30-40 images per hour, but this really depends on the content being captured as well. Check out more information on our investment page.

Are your images watermarked?

Only on the online viewing gallery. The high-resolution photographs do not have any branding material on them once they have been downloaded.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No, you're more than welcome to order prints through whatever process you find most efficient. A really user friendly printing website that I recommend is smallwoods.com. If you do decide to order through me, turnaround time is super quick, check out the "a la carte" section on the investment page to see what I offer!

Will we receive the copyright to our images?

No, you receive a photo-print release of the images. This means you can print the images, share on all the social media platforms, but you do not have ownership to the photographs. Under no circumstances are the images to be distributed for money. Photos may not be entered into contests or entries without permission. Copyright simply means that I am the creator of the images, and I "own" the creative product. Selling or obtaining "the copyright" is not possible, but you will have ability to print and share your images as much as you would like!

What is the "Online Gallery"?

The online gallery is a private password protected section on my Pixieset website where all your images will be placed for you, your family and friends to view. You'll have a download option with a PIN number, where you can begin downloading the images to your device as soon as you receive the gallery link. You can even download them straight to your phone! I honestly do not recommend screenshots of the gallery on your mobile device as the quality is purposely lower. I'm always posting "sneak peeks" through Facebook and Instagram while I'm in the process of completing a gallery.
