Frequently Asked Questions...

I understand the the process of taking photos is a little stressful. But trust me, it doesn't have to be! I want to make our time together super stress free. Below I will answer a few frequently asked questions about my business.

WHAT IS IN YOUR CAMERA BAG?

I currently photograph with two Nikon D750 full frame cameras. The lenses included in my bag are a 50mm f/1.8, a 35mm f/1.8, a 85mm f/1.8, and a 24-70mm f/2.8. I use the Godox TT600 and V860-II speed lights for off camera flash as well to provide extra light in dimly lit areas or to sharpen a mood of indoor or ambient lighting.

DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?

No, you're more than welcome to order prints through whatever process you find most efficient. A really user friendly printing website that I recommend is mpix.com. If you do decide to order through me, turnaround time is super quick, check out the "a la carte" section on the investment page to see what I offer!

DO YOU EDIT ALL OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS?

Yes and no! I only edit the best of your session. Every image that you receive has been hand-edited, one at a time. A lot of time is spent removing yellow tint from teeth, removing blemishes from skin and hiding wild clothing straps that love to peak out of cute clothes. Nothing too extreme, just the little things like color and blemish correction.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

I am located in Menard, Texas and primarily shoot here and in surrounding towns, although you'll find me traveling all around the West Texas and Hill Country areas of Texas. I will also travel outside these popular areas if need be. My goals are to become a destination photographer. So if you are planning your wedding out-of-state, COUNT ME IN!

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY PHOTOS AFTER MY SESSION OR EVENT?

Session galleries have an expected delivery time of 14-21 days, but I try to aim inside that time frame. If the event is longer in length of time, say an 8-10+ hour wedding, galleries are returned in an approximately 60-90 days. You're always more than welcome to let me know of your needs in advance, and I am more than happy to try to expedite the process if you're needing them within a certain time frame.

ARE YOUR IMAGES WATERMARKED?

Only on the online viewing gallery. The high-resolution photographs do not have any branding material on them once you have downloaded.

HOW MANY PICTURED WILL I BE RECEIVING?

That depends on the amount of time I'm shooting! For weddings and other events that take several hours long, I'll include all your best images throughout the entire event.  I'll always include the goofy faces and slightly out of focus photographs as they add so much character to the images themselves. I generally can produce around 30-40 images per hour, but this really depends on the content being captured as well. Do check out more information on our investment page.

DO WE GET THE COPYRIGHT  TO OUR IMAGES?

No, you receive a photo-print release of the images. This means you can print the images, share on all the social media platforms, but you do not have ownership to the photographs. Under no circumstances are the images to be distributed for money. Photo may not be entered to contests or entries without permission. Copyright simply means that I am the creator of the images, and I "own" the creative product. Selling or obtaining "the copyright" is not possible, but you will have ability to print and share your images as much as you would like!

WHAT IS THIS "ONLINE GALLERY" WE GET ACCESS TO?

The online gallery is a private password protected section on my Pixieset website where all your images will be placed for you, your family and friends to view. You'll have a download option with a PIN number, and you can begin downloading the images to your device as soon as you receive the gallery link. You can even download them straight to your phone! I honestly do not recommend screenshots of the gallery on your mobile device as the quality lowers. I'm always posting "sneak peeks" through Facebook and Instagram while I'm in the process of completing a gallery as well.

If you have any other questions, use the Contact Section located in the menu and
submit your questions!
